Objectives and Description

Communication Hub, scheduled for April 2025, aspires to foster international collaboration and enhance entrepreneurial and communication skills within a diverse cultural context. Participants, comprising students from different European countries, will engage with the entrepreneurial ecosystem in Porto, Portugal, at Isla Polytechnic University. This initiative aims to cultivate international competencies, intercultural communication skills, and professional networking abilities among the participants. Through the sharing of knowledge and proficient communication in English, the program aims to equip student entrepreneurs with the requisite tools for success in global business environments. Participants will develop effective communication and inspirational leadership, imperative for organizational success. Communication engenders collaboration, clarity, and trust among team members will be promoted, while inspirational leadership will be shared. (3 ECTS, 4-10 April, 2025)

This project will inaugurate several interactive learning opportunities, enabling students to access video materials, embedded tools, evaluation tasks, and more. It is meticulously designed to achieve three fundamental global objectives:

Cross-Cultural Competence

Understand and respect cultural differences and learn to communicate well with people from different backgrounds during negotiations.

Business Communication


Improve your B2-level English skills to share ideas, write reports, and give great business presentations.

Business Strategy and Planning​

Learn how to create a solid business plan that works for everyone involved.

We firmly believe this project is of paramount significance, catalyzing future learning in communication and leadership. The Communication Hub promises to be a transformative experience, equipping participants with the essential competencies to thrive in a global business landscape.

Methods and outcomes

Interactive theoretical-practical sessions focused on students and project development (Business Pitch). Methodologies such as learning-by-doing, and experiential learning with real intercultural communication challenges. The learning objectives, pedagogical materials to consult and practical activities to be developed will be available in a Google Drive shared folder.
