ISLA IPGT welcomed Ms. Meo Kositpaiboon, International Mobility Officer from our partners in France, Groupe IGS, on 13 and 14 February.
It was an absolute pleasure to meet with Ms. Kositpaiboon and work out all the details of a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with Groupe IGS. While staying with us, she also met with ISLA’s President, Prof. António Godinho, our Director of the Research Center, Prof. Firmino Silva, the heads of both ISLA schools, Prof. Carlos Miguel Oliveira and Prof. José Moreira, as well as the GRIM team. The MoU we have signed outlines plans for a common line of action between both institutions and sets conditions, duties and requirements for each party. Further specific collaboration agreements are on the way.
In fact, we expect a specific agreement for student mobility to be signed very soon. Several groups of IGS students are set to stay with us for short two-week periods of specialized training in April, May and June 2023.
May this be the start of a very long-lasting partnership!
An umbrella group of independent non-profit associations founded in 1975, the Groupe IGS provides educational solutions to the public with 5 different training options: core programs of study, continuing education, cooperative education, traineeships and professional integration.
